"Accept unquestioningly and respond lovingly to all the situations of the day as truly sent by God..." (He Leadeth Me, 39).
I'm reading this book to aid my lenten quest for more of JESUS in my life (and less of ME). I highly recommend it. Fr. Walter J. Ciszek, S.J., spent 23 years in Soviet prisons and Siberian labor camps. He learned A LOT, needless to say, about life and God.
Have a wonderful day!

That is DEEP and quite convicting.
Is it a long book? I've never heard of it so thanks for the recommendation.
Sharon,
It's about 200 pages, but it's so good I'm over half way through it and it was supposed to last for all of lent! I guess I'll read it twice. He also wrote With God in Russia, which is a longer, more detailed account of all he went through.
Oh my goodness, I so needed that quote today, you don't even know. Thank you. Just thank you...for sharing.
God bless your Lent.
I TOTALLY read that last year for lent!!!!! Fantastic!
